STEM Learning
Hundreds of free classroom resources, links to CPD in Devon and beyond, and opportunities for free classroom support from STEM ambassadors. If you're looking for world-leading STEM curriculum or careers ideas, this is the first place to visit.
STEM Ambassadors
Bringing STEM careers to life in the classroom is increasingly vital here in the South West as we strive for more career opportunities in the area. STEM Ambassadors are industry volunteers who can work with you to raise these aspirations at any stage of education, and we absolutely recommend their support.
Teach Computing
Computing and Computer Science are a considerable obstacle for many schools, often asking non-specialists to take a lead. Be confident in your curriculum and subject knowledge through the opportunities offered by Teach Computing. Run locally by partners in Exeter Maths School, Uffculme Secondary School and Broadclyst Primary.
CAS Community Network Meetings
The primary aim of Computing At School (CAS) is to promote and develop the teaching of computing in schools by supporting teachers. One way to achieve this is to provide teachers with a local forum to share ideas and mutual interests. These CAS Communities form the foundation of much of the work of CAS. CAS Community meetings are for teachers, run by teachers.
Cornerstone EdTech
The Cornerstone Academy Trust has an international reputation for its use of technology in education and has been awarded EdTech Demonstrator School status by the Department for Education. For packages of support, including guidance, online tutorials, webinars and recorded content visit their site.
Cornerstone English Hub
The Cornerstone English Hub is one of only 34 schools across England appointed by the DfE to take a leading role in supporting schools that struggle to teach children to read by improving the teaching of early language and reading. We cover a key area in the southwest and provide training and development to schools within our region through a collaborative approach to achieve better results for children.
One Cornwall
The OneCornwall is a joining of two Cornwall hubs, The Roseland Acadmey and Trenance Learning Acadmey, working in partnership. The partnership will work collaboratively with our partners from across Cornwall, the South West and Nationally.
